Following the success of last year’s event, Try A Bus Day is back!
Location: Belfairs Methodist Church, Eastwood Road North, Leigh.
The event is especially for anyone who hasn’t used a bus for a while, or who may not be very confident using the bus. Come along to have the opportunity to go on a short bus journey and discuss issues surrounding the use of buses in Southend with a local bus operator and Council travel experts. This includes finding more about routes, fares, safety and mobility.
Try a Bus Day is part of European Mobility Week, and here at Ideas in Motion we want to help people get out and about and keep active. We have some exciting events lined up between the 19th-22nd September and we’d love to see you there!
• Saturday 19th September – The Older People’s Assembly Active Ageing event takes place at The Victoria Shopping Centre, Southend from 9:30am to 2pm.
• Sunday 20th September – The 5th Annual Tweed and Vintage Fun Ride starts at 2pm at Belfairs Woodland Centre Eastwood Road North, Leigh SS9 4LR
