We’re often told that we need to exercise more, and you’ve probably heard the figure of 10,000 steps a day mentioned. It’s easy to wonder how on earth that number can be reached; certainly not at your office desk, or on the sofa at the end of a tiring day. The trick is to fit in exercise when you can. The school run is the perfect opportunity – often a walk to the gates can be as quick as making the trip by car, and it’ll go a long way to ensuring your family is just that little bit more active on a daily basis.
