Everyone has bad days at work. It happens.
But why make things worse for yourself and arrive home still stressed out? A car journey doesn’t really give you any headspace; you seem to trap all those bad feelings in with you when you shut the car door. And of course there’s nothing like getting stuck in a jam to sink your mood even lower.
So why not swap the experience for a little chauffeur-driven ‘me time’ on the bus? Just pop in your headphones and gaze at the passing scenery to gain some perspective on the day’s events.
Riding the bus gives you the chance to be a passenger again, and this means you can let your concentration, and your imagination, wander.
