Use your commute to catch up on the movie classics you always meant to see.
We’ve all been there. Someone asks you about a film you know you really should have seen by now, so you mumble awkwardly and pretend you’ve seen it. Or worse, you missed the latest episode of the TV show everyone’s talking about in the office, or haven’t seen that box set all your colleagues have been bingeing on.
There are only so many times you can avoid a spoiler by faking a phone call, or suddenly remembering you’ve ‘forgotten something’ and dashing away from the watercooler, before everyone catches on.
Well, good news, there’s no reason to ever be caught like that again!
With smartphones and tablets, lots of people already check their emails and read the news on the go – and lots watch TV and films too. So if you commute to work by train or bus, you could join them in making public transport your own mobile cinema.
Of course, we know not everyone’s commute is long enough to watch a whole film or even a whole TV show (thankfully!), but even those of us who do just a short hop on the bus or train every morning and evening can use it as a chance to watch a few scenes of the latest blockbuster or ratings grabber.
Whether it’s a romantic, weepy, or edge of the seat crime drama, why not be moved on the bus or train?
