Walk the most of living beside the sea
– Wayne, Westcliff-on-Sea
Living in Southend-On-Sea means that we often get the benefit of, well, being by the sea. But we don’t all make the most of it like we could.
It’s often been said that those who live by the sea are happier than their in-land neighbours, and now it’s official. Scientists recently found a visible link between people’s health and their ability to see what they call the ‘blue space’.
With the list of benefits attached to living by the sea, such as its role in speeding up our ability to absorb oxygen, lulling us into a state of relaxation and balancing our serotonin levels (chemical in our bodies linked to mood and stress) it would suggest we are at our best to receive inspiration. To think new thoughts and be inspired to make life changes.
In order to do this our mind and body must be healthy, which definitely seems to be the case for those who have the sea in their sight. When we feel good, both physically and mentally, anything seems possible.
What will the sea inspire you to achieve, change or better? Take a walk beside the sea to find out!
