Getting active can be difficult but Walking for Health is here to help.
Walking for health is England’s largest network of health walk schemes, helping people across the country to lead a more active lifestyle. Group walks are led by friendly, specially trained volunteers who are on hand to provide encouragement and support, along with making sure no one gets left behind.
All walks are short (taking place over easy terrain) and open to everyone at no cost, but especially aimed at those who are least active.
